Not every elected official listens to the people, but Councilman Kling does. He holds monthly drop-in public office hours, and conducts annual postcard issue surveys. Bill answers phone calls and emails, and frequently attends neighborhood association meetings throughout the district. Bill walks over 900 miles annually within the district, calling in needed street repairs, street sweeping needs, utility and cable line infrastructure issues, clogged storm sewer inlets and drainage problems, and talks with constituents about their concerns.
Bill believes our city employees are the backbone of our city. They keep us safe, keep our roads paved, our neighborhoods clean, and so much more. That is why Bill works to take care of them.
